Cake Mix Cream Cheese Cookies

Cream cheese. Cookies. Combined?
It seems like an okay thing to do...I randomly found this recipe and jotted it down a long while ago and finally decided to give it a try since I've been on a "cake mix" kick lately.
It creates a very creamy cookie (of course). The batter is sticky and thick to work with.
I added chocolate chips...because I love chocolate chip cookies and this recipe turned out alright.
Not my favorite, but it might tickle your fancy :)

Cake Mix Cream Cheese Cookies
Prep: 10 minutes Bake: 10 minutes Servings: approx. 36 cookies

Preheat oven to 375°

1 box cake mix (white, yellow, chocolate...anything would work, I think)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips, or any other chips you would like

Cream together cake mix, cream cheese, butter, vanilla and egg.
Mixture gets tough to mix, kind of sticky also.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded spoonful onto cookie sheets.
Bake 10 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
